Celebrate the return of Spring with a fun themed train ride through northern New Jersey! The Easter Bunny and helpers will be on board greeting everyone during the 45-minute round-trip ride along the Morristown & Erie Railway's historic Whippanong Trail.
Your train ride departs from and returns to the Whippany Railway Museum site in Morris County, NJ. You'll enjoy the comfort of heated passenger coaches as the Easter Bunny's helpers hand out holiday treats for the kids. You are welcome to bring your camera to take photos enroute (free of charge), but be aware that the Easter Bunny has to visit many children and can't stay long with each person.

The 10-mile round trip excursion is a thrill for the children as they enjoy what for many, will be their very first train ride. The Whippany Railway Museum's Easter train is the original excursion of its type in the North Jersey area...since 1992 ! Passengers can combine the thrill of riding our Springtime Streamliner along with touring the Museum site, with its outstanding collection of Historic Railroad Locomotives, Rolling Stock, Operating Model Train Layouts and Vintage Farm Tractors.
These rides usually sell out early, so advance internet or mail order ticket reservations are strongly recommended!
| In addition to the regular coaches that make up the train, make your day Extra Special by purchasing limited tickets for a nostalgic Easter ride onboard our elegantly-restored 1927-era Central Railroad of New Jersey club car, 'Jersey Coast'. The car has the look and feel of a private club with individual leather chairs, mahogany interior accented with stained glass, built-in tables and period ceiling fans.

The 'Jersey Coast' recalls the 1930's when the CNJ operated its deluxe coach train, the Blue Comet between Jersey City and Atlantic City, NJ. The striking paint scheme of cream and blue reminds one of a comet streaking through space.

Feel like a millionaire for 45 minutes while traveling in this carefully restored relic from another age.
